Axioma servisas, a provider of maintenance, automation and electrical services to industrial and energy companies, as well as IT solutions to increase productivity, has successfully completed the repair of the Ziepniekkalns CHP plant of Rigas siltums: two biofuel conveyors and a biofuel sorter were repaired.
The new boiler with biofuel feed system at Ziepniekkalns was built four years ago, during which time the conveyor and sorter chains, star bearings and other parts had naturally worn out. Following the repairs, the fuel farm equipment is now fully operational again and will run for at least three years.
“We have been maintaining boiler houses in Lithuania for more than 20 years, and this is one of our first jobs in Latvia on behalf of Axioma servisas, so we are delighted with the successful partnership with the client. We plan that this will not be our last project in Latvia,” says Artūras Lopeta, Managing Director of Axioma servisas.
