Axioma Servisas, a company providing the widest range of maintenance services to the industrial sector in Lithuania, continues to rapidly accumulate experience in the design, installation and repair of conveyor systems area. The specialists of the Vilnius Installation Group are happy to earn the growing trust of market participants and receive orders from regular customers. One of such customers is Vli Timber UAB, the largest producer of dried firewood in Lithuania, which resorts to the company’s services for the third time.
The latest contract with Vli Timber was signed for the supply of conveyor system equipment for the transfer of dried firewood to the packaging line. It is planned to supply a total of 9 belt conveyors with an overall length of 150 meters.
“The metal structures, which were manufactured by our partner in Lithuania, differed from those normally used in conveyors due to their height. The technical specification stated that the transportation equipment must be as low as possible – no higher than 20 centimetres”, said Žilvinas Ratkevičius, Head of the Vilnius Installation Group, sharing the intricacies of the project.
The team of Axioma Servisas took care of the production of the conveyors, belt gluing and supply of the necessary components, such as rollers, bearings, reducers, belts, etc. The installation of the delivered equipment was performed by the customer.
After the implementation of the project, the cost of which amounted to 145 thousand euros, Vli Timber was able to increase its production capacity to 140 thousand cubic meters of wood production per year. The total value of the conveyor equipment and systems, which Axioma Servisas has delivered to the customer during the period of cooperation, amounts to more than 300 thousand euros.
Vli Timber UAB is the largest producer of dried firewood in Lithuania. The products of the factory located in Kurkliai II, in Anykščiai District, is exported to Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, France, USA and other countries of around the world.
