Axioma Servisas UAB has been carrying out equipment installation works at the newly opened PRESS GLASS plant since the month of April.German equipment for cutting, tempering, layering and joining components of single and double pane glass is installed in the glass processing company located in the Kaunas Free Economic Zone (FEZ).
Regarding “PRESS GLASS” investment, new plant will be fully automated and the plant layout will be optimised to accommodate all major production processes. “The equipment installed at this facility is unfamiliar to “Axioma Servisas” specialists, so we are glad that the installation work is coordinated by the manufacturers’ representatives from Germany. Part of the equipment has not yet been delivered, but according to the coordinated schedule, we need to complete the installation works of the first stage in September,” said Vaidas Seniūnas, the Project Manager.
„PRESS GLASS“ – Europe’s leading glass processing company supplying its products to the construction industry. The company cooperates with various manufacturers of windows, doors, façades, glazing, interior structures and acoustic screens. The plant being built in Lithuania will complement the current list of 14 plants, which use approximately 20 mln. sq m base glass for the manufacturing of products.
