The services of Axioma Servisas company receive an increasing trust of foreign companies – in 2022, a contract was signed with an international group of companies that designs and manufactures industrial equipment and production lines. According to this contract, the specialists of Axioma Servisas performed the installation of the conveyor system in the newly built parcel distribution terminal in Vilnius.
“In order to cooperate with the group, which unites more than 100 companies, it was necessary to meet high standards of work performance and employee competence. We are glad that a team with global experience has entrusted the installation of conveyor equipment to us,” said Vytautas Miknevičius, Project Manager.
Axioma Servisas installed a 400 metres long conveyor system for one of the world’s largest providers of express delivery services and a leader in the logistics industry. The parcel distribution system consists of 12 different conveyor lines, six of which were installed over two levels. Part of the equipment had to be lifted on a platform at a height of 3.5 metres.
The Vilnius installation group installed a total of 78 belt and 65 roller conveyors and 10 swiveler wheel diverters, the weight sensor scales and a scanning tunnel. Conveyors with an integrated EASY-CaptureTM data capture system will process up to 2,000 incoming and outgoing shipments per hour.
“All the equipment arrived in parts from different suppliers, with the help of 20 trucks. We are glad to have been able to avoid any disruptions in the supply chain and that the planned installation work took place on time,” said Miknevičius.
