Axioma Servisas, a company providing perhaps the largest and widest range of support services to the industry, has signed a significant contract with one of the main contractors of the Vilnius CHP.
The establishment of a direct relationship with the Polish company is a continuation of the successfully completed work in the construction of the Vilnius CHP and a great appreciation and proof of confidence in the competence portfolio of Axioma Servisas.
The new contract provides for the laying and connection of cables, installation of cable routes, performance of hot and cold tests, supply of materials and equipment, and installation of automatic control panels for the control of fire-fighting equipment.
“We already have strong engineering experience working on energy facilities, and we feel confident in the capabilities of our team. The main challenge we will face is the installation and commissioning of automatic fire alarm control panels – this will be a new area for us,” said Tomas Gerdauskas, Head of Vilnius Services Department
The delivery of equipment is currently awaited and the project is scheduled for completion in March.
Axioma Servisas specialists started the first works in the power plant in January 2020: they installed the steam boiler metering devices, automation equipment, pulse lines, and laid almost 100 kilometres of cables. High-quality services have become an excellent gateway for further projects and long-term contracts for maintenance of electrical and automation equipment.
