Axioma Servisas, a provider of engineering services, has launched a project to construct an energy storage facility for UAB Tausalos baterijos. A 60 MW, 120 MWh energy storage park is being built in the village of Kalnėnai, Telšiai District, which will be integrated into the electricity transmission grid. Once the project is completed, the park will contribute to balancing electricity generation in the Baltic States’ balancing market and strengthen Lithuania’s energy independence.
“Axioma Servisas” is carrying out all project implementation work—from site preparation, equipment supply, and installation to system integration, testing, and commissioning. The company will also be responsible for the technical maintenance and servicing of the energy storage park.
The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026.
