“Axioma servisas” will install six lifting cranes

UAB “Axioma servisas,” the leading provider of engineering services to industrial companies, is pleased to contribute to project of strategic importance to Lithuania. This time, the company’s team will carry out the installation of six lifting cranes as part of a major project.

Comprehensive installation of six cranes

The main contractor for the project is AB PST Group, which has entrusted the crane installation scope to the “Axioma servisas” team. The project includes six lifting devices: two gantry cranes, three overhead cranes, and one jib crane, as well as transport trolleys and spreaders.

“Axioma servisas” is responsible for the full scope of crane implementation—from design and manufacturing to installation and commissioning. Design works are currently underway, along with detailed coordination of technical solutions with the client. Each crane is designed individually, with solutions tailored to its specific purpose and operating requirements.

Project completion scheduled for 2029

According to the project schedule, design and manufacturing activities will take place in 2025–2026. Installation works are planned to begin in 2027 and are expected to last approximately one year.

After completion of the installation phase, the project will await the completion of construction works. Subsequently, “cold” and “hot” testing, as well as final project completion, are scheduled for 2028–2029.

Technical challenges and unique solutions

“We have installed similar cranes in Estonia and Poland, but this project stands out due to its scale and technical complexity. It is the first project of this magnitude and complexity, involving the integration of six unique crane systems,” says Darius Imbrasas, Head of the Eastern Estonia Service Division at “Axioma servisas.”
