Axioma Servisas UAB, the company offering industrial maintenance services, contributed to the renovation of the biofuel boiler plant of Rīgas Energija SIA. In one of the boiler plants owned by the Latvian company, the “Axioma Servisas” specialists dismantled the worn out fuel hopper screw feeder and installed the renewed one, and also replaced its bearing units. The company also supplied a custom made fuel warehouse hydraulic cylinder, a set of electrostatic precipitator electrode rapping hammers and spare chains for the fuel feed conveyor.
Fuel hopper screw feeder installation
The equipment installation works have been be carried out during the shutdown of the “Rīgas Energija” boiler plant according to the plan agreed with the customer. Within two working days, the team of “Axioma Servisas” specialists dismantled the old fuel hopper screw feeder and all structures preventing its removal.
After Rīgas Energija’s partner carried out capital repair of the equipment, the professionals of “Axioma Servisas” installed the renewed fuel hopper screw feeder in its original place. Only two days were allocated for the installation work, replacement of bearing units and reconstruction of structures.
Supply of spare parts
Rīgas Energija’s reconstructed boiler plant was supplied with a set of electrostatic precipitator electrode rapping hammers and spare chains for the chain conveyor that transports biofuel to the fuel hopper of the furnace. The company’s team adapted the standard chains of the Italian manufacturer, with the total length reaching as much as 120 meters, to the equipment used by the customer.
“Axioma Servisas” specialists also produced a spare hydraulic cylinder for the fuel warehouse, with the help of which the scrapers are put into motion by moving fuel to other units.
“Axioma Servisas” specialists with more than 20 years of experience in boiler plant maintenance contributed to the delivery of equipment parts and performance of repair, which will ensure greater reliability of the system that produces heat and electricity for the city of Riga and surrounding areas.
