At the end of February this year UAB Axioma servisas signed a contract with UAB Forest Investment for the operation of a 48.5 MW biocatalytic plant (located at Jočionių str. 13, Vilnius). Under the contract, the Axioma servisas team will carry out all maintenance and servicing of the boiler house from operation to the scheduled periodic maintenance and repair of the equipment, as well as provide biofuel laboratory services.
The boiler plant, which started operation on 1 March, has two water heating boilers with a nominal capacity of 19,5 MW and two 4,75 MW condensing flue gas economizers. A dual-field electrostatic precipitator is used to treat the biofuel plant’s flue gases to remove particulate matter. The plant will generate almost 10% of Vilnius’ heat energy needs.

Forest Investment’s biocatalytic plant will employ 9 Axioma servisas operators – maintenance technicians and a boiler plant manager.
