Axioma servisas’s team, which has many years of experience in electrical and automation projects, has completed another automation project. On behalf of UAB Okseta, a provider of logistics, transportation and service station maintenance services for petroleum products and liquefied gases, an electrical-automation part of the used oil loading infrastructure was installed.
Installation of E/A infrastructure for loading used oil from tankers
Okseta was responsible for the installation of a new infrastructure for the loading of used oil from tanker trucks and its integration into the existing infrastructure at KN Energies. It was the electrical and automation design, material supply and installation of this project that was entrusted to Axioma servisas by the general contractor.
Klaipėda service department specialists took care of the design and installation of the electrical-automation part, i.e. assembly of cables, cable structures, frequency converters, measuring instruments, technological pipelines, electric heating, control stations and cabinets, etc. The management of the new used oil handling infrastructure was fully automated, with the programming and installation of the control system and the commissioning.
Additional works were also carried out
The installation of an valve, a flowmeter, level alarms, and a safety valve insulated with electric cable. Configuration and programming of all the above equipment was subsequently carried out.
“The biggest challenge was the various changes to the project, to which we had to react and find new solutions. I would like to thank the whole team, with whom we made quick but correct decisions,” says project manager Gintautas Tiškevičius.
