At the end of last year, Axioma Servisas secured two more important public procurements – the company undertook to carry out metrological inspections of gas analyzers, alarm devices and other metering instruments used by Vilniaus šilumos tinklai AB, the largest supplier of heat and hot water in Lithuania, and Ignitis gamyba AB.
Inspection of 734 metering instruments
Under the first contract, 734 devices, of which 667 are gas analyzers and alarms, will be checked periodically according to a plan coordinated in advance with the customer. Metrological inspections of devices will be performed every 6 months, i.e., in compliance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, for a period of two years.
Specialists will issue certificates and special inspection labels to devices that meet the requirements.
The value of the contract concluded with Vilniaus šilumos tinklai is 20 thousand euros.
All gas analyzers will be inspected
The second contract stipulates that Axioma Servisas will inspect the gas analyzers, alarms, sensors and metering systems used by the customer for a period of four years. Metrological inspections of these devices will also be performed every 6 months.
The value of the contract signed with Ignitis gamyba amounts to 23 thousand euros.
Growing confidence is encouraging
“A large number of metering instruments require inspections, so coordinated work of our specialists and partners will be required. We are glad that large organisations are ready to trust this service, which was only started to be provided a little over a year ago”, said the head of the laboratory, Eglė Nugaraitė-Juršienė.
Moreover, Axioma Servisas specialists check the compliance of breathalyzers against the error limits declared by the manufacturer. The accredited laboratory also performs biofuel and water quality tests.
