Axioma Servisas UAB, which provides maintenance services of the mechanical, electrical and automation equipment of the largest Lithuanian energy companies, is proud to have secured another important public procurement. In August, a contract was signed with Kaunas Combined Heat and Power Plant (Kaunas CHP), which produces heat and energy, for the provision of technical maintenance services for electrical and automation equipment for a period of three years.
Maintenance according to the customer’s needs
Axioma Servisas specialists will perform the assembly, start-up and adjustment and installation works of electrical and automation equipment in one of the state-of-the-art power plants in Europe.
“We have many years of experience in performance of maintenance work on this E&A equipment. On the other hand, it will be a challenge to manage the need for the necessary specialists, because most of the companies under maintenance of Axioma Servisas start operations at a similar time as the Kaunas CHP”, said Laimis Norvilas, Head of the Coordination Group of the Kaunas Service Division.
All services will be performed according to the needs of the Kaunas CHP.
First works have already been completed
The first works under the contract have already been completed. Employees of the 24/7 service group and the Rotary Equipment Division also contributed to the performance of these works.
“The engines were first dismantled and, after the repair and inspection work, they were reinstalled. A few of them were also repaired by the team of the Kaunas Rotary Equipment Division. Furthermore, a non-functioning heating cable was dismantled and a new one was installed”, added Norvilas.
