Axioma Servisas, which mainly provides maintenance services to industrial companies, concluded a new contract with the Kaunas Region Waste Management Center, a public institution that collects, processes, recycles and disposes of waste.
The contract provides for the maintenance of the automated control systems of the Kaunas mechanical biological waste treatment (MBT) facilities of this institution for a period of 12 months (with the possibility of extending it 2 times after expiration of the 12-month period), which includes scheduled and preventive maintenance of control panels, SCADA system components and other electric and automatic devices, as well as necessary repairs.
“We are glad that we earned the trust of the customer by providing mechanical equipment repair services and signed a service contract for maintenance of electrical and automatic equipment. We hope that this is the beginning of a long and successful cooperation”, said Tomas Gerdauskas, Head of Vilnius Services Department.
At the end of 2021, the Kaunas Region Waste Management Center and Axioma Servisas signed a mechanical equipment maintenance service contract. According to this contract, emergency and scheduled repair services are provided at the Kaunas MBT and Zabieliškis MSS plants. Maintenance and repair works of conveyors, ballistic, drum, magnetic and optical separators are performed.
Kaunas MBA, opened in 2016, processes mixed municipal waste from Jonava, Kaišiadorys, Raseiniai and Kaunas city and district. Waste is processed in mechanical separation and sorting facilities – separated secondary raw materials are directed to recycling or other use (for example, to obtain energy), while biodegradable waste is composted.
