Production equipment successfully relocated to Italy

At the beginning of the year, a contract was signed with a foreign capital company, under which the team of the Pump and Rotating Equipment Repair Division of Axioma servisas successfully carried out the dismantling and transportation of the production equipment. The value of the project amounted to almost 60 K.

Dismantling and transporting a 10 meter long press

The contract obliged Axioma servisas to dismantle and transport the process equipment, i.e. the press used for the production of sandwich panels, to Italy. The specific press was 10 meters long, 6 meters high and 3 meters wide.

Within two weeks, the huge press was picked and prepared for safe transport to the Italian factory. As many as six trucks were used to transport the machine.

First encountered

Sandwich panels are used in the construction of commercial buildings. They are usually based on plasterboard with additional material such as polystyrene or mineral wool sandwiched between them. It is this panel that is pressed by the press dismantled by Axioma Servisas.

“Although this is the first time we have encountered this type of equipment, I am glad that the team of the Kaunas branch managed to smoothly solve all the challenges – we even avoided the need for consultations with the equipment manufacturer,” said Vaidas Seniūnas, Project Manager.
