Axioma Servisas signed a new long-term contract with Dzūkijos vandenys UAB, the company that supplies drinking water to the residents of Alytus. The contract was concluded for the supply of electronic cold water meters with a remote data reading function – upon customer’s order, the company undertook to deliver the meters within 30 days.
The contract will be valid for two years.
“Dzūkijos vandenys is in the process of replacement of mechanical water meters with smart ones, i.e., those featuring remote data reading function. The new meters will remotely transmit data to information systems and allow the customer to monitor and analyse the data. Another benefit is that residents with smart meters will no longer have to declare their cold water meter readings. The readings will be collected remotely and transferred to the information systems of the cold water supplier”, said Kasparas Vitunskas, Project Manager at Axioma Servisas, about the functions of the new meters.
The city of Alytus will be supplied with electronic cold water meters from the German manufacturer Qundis. The meters will come in three different sizes: 15 and 20 mm in diameter and 80, 110 and 130 mm in length.
The value of the contract signed with Dzūkijos vandenys amounts to as much as 315 thousand euros.
Dzūkijos vandenys UAB supplies drinking water, operates sewage network equipment, lays and repairs water supply and sewage systems, and performs other works at the Alytus water management facility.
