Axioma Servisas company, which provides its services mainly to the industrial sector, continues to carry out important renovation projects at the only oil refinery in the Baltic States managed by ORLEN Lietuva AB situated in the Mažeikiai District. This spring, the parties signed a contract, according to which Axioma Servisas will install two new tanks for the storage of oily sludge on the territory of the refinery.
The team of Mažeikiai Division of Axioma Servisas, which has many years of experience in the specific field of the oil and gas industry, will take care of the “turnkey” installation of both tanks, i.e., design, supply, installation and commisioning.
Installation works of the new tanks will include construction, mechanical, electrical and automation parts. The construction and mechanical parts will include the installation of four mixers, two tanks, their steam heater, pipelines and service platforms. During the implementation of the electrical and automation parts, two power control panels, and twelve measuring and automation devices will be installed, and about 2,000 meters of cables and about 400 meters of cable routes will be laid. Moreover, 30 new LED lights will be installed.
During the implementation of the project, technically obsolete tanks will be dismantled, and new tanks will be connected to the existing pipelines. Replacement of the containers will also include expansion of their control system.
The two new storage tanks are planned to be installed in the oil refinery managed by ORLEN Lietuva AB by end of summer 2024. Design work is currently underway. Installation work is expected to begin this summer. The first tank featuring an expanded control system will be launched into operation at the end of this year, and the second – in the summer of following year.
This investment project will be implemented by forty Axioma Servisas employees.
