Axioma Servisas added a new contract to its list of important transactions – another successful public procurement announced by companies in the energy sector. Under the contract signed at the beginning of February, the specialists will perform water preparation equipment maintenance, service and repair work in the boiler plants managed by Kauno Energija AB.
The team of the Kaunas Division undertook to perform the installation, replacement and fault elimination of mechanical, electrical and automation equipment and their components, functional testing of water preparation systems, mode regulation, tuning and chemical process correction, as well as renovation works of the control system SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). Furthermore, regular water quality tests of the power supply and heating networks will be carried out.
The works listed above will be carried out in all 19 facilities owned by Kauno Energija. Among them are Petrašiūnai power plant, “Inkaro”, “Šilko”, “Nemuno”, Noreikiškės, Ežerėlis, Garliava, Girionys, “Pergalės”, Raudondvaris, Domeikava, Palemonas and Jurbarkas boilers.
“We are happy that the customer trusts the competence and capacity of our specialists to carry out servicing of water preparation systems. On the other hand, the number of facilities to be maintained is large, which means we will have to work at a maximum capacity”, said Vilma Štreimikienė, Sales Engineer, regarding the execution of the contract.
Axioma Servisas will perform functionality, diagnostics and other inspection works of water preparation system equipment on a monthly basis at the Petrašiūnai power plant and the “Inkaro” and “Šilko” boiler plants. In other facilities, the maintenance, service and repair works will be performed according to the customer’s needs.
The contract with Kauno Energija was signed for a period of one year, with the possibility of extending it twice for another 12 months.
The maximum value of the contract can amount to 130,000 euros.

The total thermal capacity of the boiler plants managed by the company reaches 685 MW, and the energy capacity – approx. 694 MW.
