Axioma Servisas, a company providing repair and maintenance services of industrial equipment, continues cooperation with the Vilnius Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHP). At the beginning of autumn, two long-term service contracts have been signed – for maintenance of automation equipment and hydraulic systems.
The specialists of Axioma Servisas have been performing maintenance of automation and hydraulic equipment in one of the most modern power plants in Europe since the beginning of its operation, i.e. since 2020.
“For more than 2 years, we have been successfully carrying out repair and maintenance work of the equipment in the Vilnius CHP. We are happy that the customer is satisfied with the quality of our services and the competence of Axioma Servisas specialists”, said Miroslav Januškevič, Head of the Operations Group of the Vilnius Service Division.
Maintenance of automation equipment
For the next three years, the service team of the Vilnius branch will take care of the technical maintenance and repair work of the automation equipment of the Vilnius CHP, and will respond to emergency calls.
It will include maintenance and repair of more than 200 types of automation devices, sensors and analysers, as well as construction work for cables, cable laying and sealing, installation of routes, repair and adjustment of electric and pneumatic drives and regulators, installation of control cabinets, and other works.
Work will be carried out as needed. The total value of the planned works is 350 thousand euros.
Maintenance of hydraulic systems
The Kaunas Rotary Equipment Department will take care of maintenance of hydraulic cylinders, motors, filters and other hydraulic system equipment at the power plant.
Inspection of hydraulic equipment, connecting pipelines and other components, measurement and regulation of the system parameters, such as pressure, flow and vibration, as well as replacement of worn out components and fluid will also continue.
The value of works carried out according to the customer’s orders cannot exceed 55 thousand euros.
Since 2021, the Vilnius Combined Heat and Power Plant has been producing heat and electricity from municipal waste, which it then supplies to the residents of the city of Vilnius. After the completion of construction of the biofuel unit, the total electricity output of the CHP will amount to 93 MW, and that of thermal power – 239 MW.
