The State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania has published its annual TOP 500 list of legal entities, ranking the companies that have paid the most taxes and other contributions to the VMI account in 2022.
For the second year in a row, UAB Axioma servisas, a provider of maintenance services to the industry, was included in the list. The amount of taxes paid last year amounted to EUR 3.56 million.
The segment of large taxpayers includes Lithuanian legal entities, foreign legal entities or organisations, as well as branches or representative offices of a foreign legal entity or other organisation, which meet the main criteria set out in the list: turnover, number of employees, amount of taxes paid to the VMI collection accounts and other criteria.
VMI particularly values the contribution of large taxpayers to the country’s economic development. Moreover, this status proves that the company operates honestly and transparently and creates significant financial value for the State.
