6 of December The National Accreditation Bureau has granted a certificate to Axioma servisas confirming that the company’s laboratory complies with the requirements of LST EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and that it is competent to carry out the testing of measuring instruments as a Type C inspection body.
The Vilnius-based laboratory is now accredited to carry out metrological inspections for these instruments:
- explosive gas measurement systems and analyzers – signaling devices;
- toxic gas measuring systems and analyzers;
- breath alcohol concentration meters (breathalyzers).
“I am delighted that we have received accreditation for two more laboratory services. In the future, we will continue to expand the basket of Axioma servisas’s laboratory services,” says Head of laboratory Eglė Nugaraitė.
Axioma servisas has been testing gas analyzers and breathalyzers since 2022, after two years of authorization from the Metrology Inspectorate. Since April this year, the laboratory has been undergoing accreditation procedures.
Axioma servisas laboratory also carries out biofuel quality testing and calibration of high voltage test benches and laboratories.
