Axioma Servisas UAB, which performs technical maintenance of mechanical, electrical and automation equipment, continues its successful cooperation with the Vilnius Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHP). Another long-term service contract was signed with one of the most advanced power plants in Europe, according to which maintenance and repairs will be carried out for 16 belt and 34 scraper conveyors and 2 fuel sorting machines.
Specialists of the Vilnius Service Division have been providing services to the Vilnius CHP since the beginning of its operation – they have been in charge of maintenance of automation devices and hydraulic systems since 2020, and conveyors – since 2021.
Maintenance according to the plan determined by the customer
Technical maintenance shall be carried out according to a plan agreed in advance with the customer. Axioma Servisas specialists will perform examination and inspection, lubrication of components, cleaning and calibration of the system at the intervals of one, three and twelve months.
Repair works will be carried out according to the customer’s needs
Repairs of conveyors of the Vilnius CHP and supply of spare parts will be carried out according to the customer’s needs.
The total value of the contract, signed for a period of three years, amounts to 450 thousand euros.
Since 2021, the Vilnius CHP has been producing heat and electricity from non-hazardous municipal waste remaining after sorting and not suitable for recycling, which is sufficient for supply to 320 thousand households in Vilnius. Currently, the total electricity capacity of the Vilnius CHP is 93 MW and heat production – 239 MW.
