For hot water and electricity generation, “Axioma servisas” offers the new technology “Virtu HOT” and “Virtu PVT” vacuum solar collectors. They are ideal for energy-intensive applications – vacuum solar collectors generate more electricity per square metre
The vacuum solar collector’s thermos-like design allows for excellent heat insulation and minimised heat loss, while the non-freezing liquid (propylene glycol) circulating inside allows the solar energy to be absorbed more efficiently than other technologies.
Advantages of vacuum solar collectors:
- Up to 4 times more efficient than solar panels. Unique shape, integrated reflectors and low profile avoid shadows, allowing more solar energy to be captured in the same area.
- Up to 3.5 times less pollution. Produces electricity and hot water, resulting in much lower carbon emissions per square metre compared to conventional solar technologies.
- Integrates into other heating systems. The collectors are easily compatible with heat pumps, gas and electric boilers. This allows pre-heating of the system that works with the main heat source.
- Versatile. The collected energy is used for water heating, space heating and various industrial processes. Collectors are widely used in spas, food and beverage factories, etc.
- Easy to install. Easily integrated into existing heating and hot water systems. Mounted in modules on the ground, on horizontal or pitched roofs and even on walls (vertical).
- Results from a distance. A dedicated platform allows you to track the electricity generated and view financial and CO2 reports. Also, the app automatically detects and reports faults.
Vacuum solar panels are available in two models:
- “Virtu HOT” is a vacuum solar collector that heats water up to 120°C using solar energy.
- “Virtu PVT” is a hybrid vacuum solar collector that combines solar photovoltaic and thermal technology. In this way, a single collector heats water and generates electricity.
