Testo Saveris 2 temperature control system is used for refrigerators in pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, operating theatres and supermarkets. If goods are stored at the wrong temperature in these places, this can lead to significant losses and costs.
The data logger comes with two temperature probes with special cables that allow the device to be mounted on the outside of the fridge and the probe to be placed on the inside of the fridge without damaging the fridge’s seal. This Testo Saver 2 kit is specially designed for use in refrigerators.
The kit also includes two flasks for filling with the correct temperature buffer. As soon as the temperature probe is immersed in the filled flask, the temperature buffer isolates the temperature probe and slows its response time. This is to avoid false alarms when monitoring the temperature of fridges. Short-term changes in temperature (e.g. due to an open door) have no effect. The measured temperature corresponds to the actual temperature of the stored goods. Propylene glycol is suitable for temperature monitoring in refrigerators; ethylene glycol is recommended for freezers below -20°C.
